DR. JERRY W. LOGAN
Dr. Jerry W. Logan was born and raised in Winchester, Indiana. He received his Doctor’s degree from Indiana’s Optometry School in 1969. While in school, he had his thesis paper (on vision in outer space) published in a national optometry magazine. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving an award for his work with children’s vision at Womack Army Hospital. In Richmond, he has been president of the Heart Association, the Y.M.C.A., the Kiwanis Club, the Whitewater Valley Optometric Society, and the Indiana University Wayne County Alumni Club. He has also served on the board of the Jaycees, the Chamber of Commerce, the Forest Hills Country Club, and the United Way. He is currently on the board of the I.U. Wayne County Alumni Club, the I.U. National Executive Council, the I.U. Optometrsy School Dean’s board, and the I.U. Optometry School Alumni Club. He was an assistant Richmond High School soccer coach for many years. He is married to Terri, who designs jewelry at the Terri Logan Studio. They have two grown children, Ryan and Greg. His primary hobbies include I.U. basketball, photography, and travel.
DR. MAX E. BAILEY
Dr. Max E. Bailey is a native of Richmond, Indiana. He graduated with honors from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1978. Upon graduation he was awarded the Bausch & Lomb Outstanding Achievement Award for his work with contact lenses, and the Irvin M. Borish Award from the American Optometric Foundation for his paper on ophthalmic photography. He is an alumnus of the second graduating class of Leadership Wayne County, and has served as a board member of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, the United Way of Wayne County (including two years as secretary), the Wayne County Nursing Professional Utilization and Review Board, and Civic Hall Associates. He is a member of the Richmond Rotary Club, serving as president for the year 1996-97. He has served one term as president of the Whitewater Valley Optometric Society, and three terms as secretary/treasurer. He was an adult leader of the Silver Spurs 4H Horse & Pony Club. In December 1991, he became a member of the prestigious American Academy of Optometry. He was a founding member of the local country band Crossroads, playing drums and singing. He is married to Eva, and they have two grown sons, Travis and Aaron, and one granddaughter, Audrey Dixon. His hobbies include photography, reading & audiobooks, music (including playing the drums), movies, and horseback riding.

My name is Kim. I am married and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. I enjoy reading, quilting, kayaking, my euchre group, and family time. My dad taught me at a young age to give back to the community. I enjoy fixing dinner for over 100 seniors at my church, donating blood, and making fidget blankets for the Hand in Hand Adult Daycare. I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years, as an office manager, doing billing, front office, and taking care of patients.

My name is Lauren. Outside of the office, I enjoy crafting, sewing, reading, being a baseball mom, camping, and reading historical fiction. My favorite movie is “Pride and Prejudice”. I like all types of music, other than rap. My summer activities include softball, gardening, landscaping, and tubing. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I LOVE giving presents!

Hello, I am Liz and I am new to the office as of 2022. I have felt very welcome here. When I am not at work, I spend time with my two girls, family, and friends. I like to do crafts, and travel when I am able. I am always on the move. I look forward to getting to know everyone.

My name is June, and I’ve been working for the office since September, 2021. I’ve been married for 22 years, and have 2 children and 3 step-children. I have 12 grandkids and counting. While I was born in Richmond, I grew up in Baltimore, MD. I love camping (my favorite spot is in Tennessee), spending time with my family, flower gardening, and having my grandkids over to spoil. I love animals, and have 6 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 ducks.
